# Component

**Registration of custom components is disabled in the UI as page designer, which uses these components, can display custom components without registering these components.**

A component is a generic vuejs component which can be placed on a page using built in page designer and can render either static or dynamic content.

Teams, Frames, Sites etc UIs in MechCloud portal application are all examples of a component.
